Is the “Human Barbie Doll” - Valerie Lukyanova - Relocating to the USA?

Posted: Thu, December 20, 2012 | By: Hank Pellissier

On December 10, a Daily Mail article reported that Valerie Lukyanova - the internet sensation who spent $800,000 on cosmetic surgery to resemble the plastic toy - is planning to move to the United States.

The original Barbie was created in 1959 by Ruth Handler, an American businesswoman who named the doll after her daughter.

21-year-old Valeria Lukyanova is supposedly moving to the USA with her best friend, 24-year-old ‘Dominica’ - real name Olga Oleynik - who is also a cosmetically-enhanced “Barbie” from the same city - Odessa, in the Ukraine.

Olga’s recent Facebook page has only 521 “Likes” though, whereas Valerie’s first Facebook page has 521,000, plus she’s featured on multiple spin-off sites in numerous languages.

Valerie told the Daily Mail, “We are planning to move to America soon. Dominica’s boyfriend is living in the US and my husband wants to start a business there… I am not going to be bored abroad, I’m often invited to photo-shoots and parties.’

The Barbie Twins - claims Daily Mail - “have been holding lectures on spirituality at £50 a session.”

What is Valerie’s average day composed of? It includes, “meditation, travel in [my] astral body, going to the gym.. and [making dinner]  for the man I love.”

Additionally, there’s a video below of Valerie and Olga performing a ritual with giant snakes.

Comments:

Valerie is brave; not many would do what they want in this way, ignoring the naysayers, if you listen to all the “you shouldn’t do that"s, you wouldn’t live a life, you’d be living other people’s lives, which isn’t really living (something I am quite pessimistic about: I don’t think—not if you examine their behavior closely—people will ever treat each other well).

Valerie, if nothing else, lives her life.
