SERIOUS WONDER interviews Hank Pellissier

Can we create utopia? Is it possible for technology to rid us of pain and suffering? SERIOUS WONDER host GRAY SCOTT talks with Hank Pellissier about his book Invent Utopia Now, Transhumanist Suggestions for the Pre-Singularity Era.

The book includes many essays Hank wrote for Transhumanity.net, IEET, and hplusmagazine.com.

Hank Pellissier is the director of Transhumanity.net. He is also the co-director of the USA Longevity Party and the African Futures Project at the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technology. 

A journalist, Hank was the “Local Intelligence” columnist for the New York Times (SF Bay edition), he’s a contributor to GreatSchools.org, he was a daily columnist for Salon.com, and a weekly colomnist for SfGate.com. He’s written 100 futurist articles for IEET, Hplusmagazine.com, and the World Future Society, occasionally under his pseudonym, Hank Hyena.
