Terasem is having a Colloquium on the Law of Futurist Persons on December 10, 2012 (International Human Rights Day) - from 1pm-4pm EST. This is the 8th annual presentation of this event by Terasem.
The colloquium will be held within the online community of Second Life at the Terasem Island Conference Center (Landing Mark: 129.195.34).
The following topic will be addressed:
Approaching the 800th Anniversary of the Magna Carta:
What Do Its Provisions Tell Us About the Rights of Futuristic Persons?
(‘Futuristic Persons’ include, but are not limited to those who employ natural and/or artificial means toward transcending physical and mental capabilities or limitations, commonly referred to as the convergence of nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology and cognitive science.)
All of Terasem’s colloquium proceedings are open to the general, virtual public and may be subsequently archived online for free public access.
The Terasem organizations are privately funded 501c3, non-profits founded for the purpose of educating the public on the practicality and necessity of extending human life, devoted to diversity, unity and joyful immortality through exponential growth of geo-ethical nanotechnology and personal cyberconsciousness.
