Longevity Meme Contest - $100 in Prizes - sponsored by Maximum Life Foundation
Posted: Tue, December 04, 2012
Transhumanity.net is sponsoring a Longevity Meme Contest, winner receives $50, second place gets $30, third place gets $20, and the Top 40 longevity memes entered are displayed on Transhumanity.net’s website.
Funding was generously provided by the Maximum Life Foundation. MaxLife will assist Transhumanity.net in the judging and they want to publish the competition’s best longevity memes in their newsletters.
The contest indicates three goals of Transhumanity.net:
1) We are committed to promoting Radical Life Extension.
2) We want to involve our readership in activist activities and invite them to participate on our site.
3) We believe transhumanism should encourage artists, designers, poets, comics and everybody else - we think transhumanism has - for too long - been open to primarily academics and science researchers. Let’s get everyone involved, everyone has something to offer, and maybe your gift is creating… Longevity memes?
To enter the contest, just send your memes to transhumanity.net@gmail.com.
You can make memes at memecrunch and numerous other sites.
Judges for the contest are Jason Xu and Hank Pellissier.
Contest ends December 10th.
Need examples? Here’s four below. The top 3 are by Jason Xu, the bottom one is by Hank Pellissier.
